in early phase HIV antibody may be neg or equivocal

HIV-1 RNA in plasma

antibodies = completion of seroconversion 
Symptoms:
- 
fever

fatigue

maculopapular rash 
- 
myalgia

headacehs/aseptic meningitis 
- 
lymphadenopathy 
- 
pharyngitis 
- 
may manifestation
