all dental procedures that involve manipulation of gingival tissue or periapical region of teeth or perforation of the oral mucosa
The following do Not need prophylaxis:

routine anaesthetic injections through no-infected

taking dental radiographs

placement of removable prosthodontic/orthodonctic appliances

adjustment of orthodontic appliance

placement of orthodontic brackets

shedding of deciduosu teeth
-
bleeding from trauma to lips or oral mucosa
Antibiotic regime:

Amoxil 2g (50mg/kg) administered

orally - 1hr before

IV just before

IM 30min before

non-dental

surgery involving respiratory mucosa

bronchoscopy

Oesophagela, GI or hepatobiliary procedures
